The region enjoys clear, sunny weather almost all year round. Dubai itself is very green when compared to the surrounding desert, with palm tree lined roads, landscaped parks and gardens, and large waterways abounding - a veritable oasis in in fact! The people are friendly and helpful, with a healthy mix of cultures and language - it's a place well worth visiting.
