This area is such a gold mine for the nature lover! With the Smokey Mountains, Pisgah National Forest, and the Blue Ridge Mountains all right at your doorstep, you can hike the Appalachian Trail, drive the Blue Ride Parkway, or search for waterfalls in Pisgah! White water rafting, fly fishing, horseback riding, and mountain biking will keep you worn out as you go to sleep to the soothing sounds of the forst in your mountain cabin.

In the four wheel drive territory of Corolla and less than 10 minutes from the Food Lion shopping complex offering unlimited shopping, restaurants, bars, golf and a movie theater. The local gas station/convenience store can be accessed in less than 5 minutes. It is like having your own private driveway one side is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean, guarded by an army of Sandpipers, marching in unison along the water edge. On the other side exists an estuarine nature sanctuary, on the beautiful Currituck Outer Banks in a last truly pristine area, with high sand dunes, beautiful trees and thousands of acres of Island Sanctuary. At night without streetlights you can gaze into more stars than you have ever seen in your life. Stay in one of the few properties on the Outer Banks where you can experience the unsurpassed beauty of water-view sunrises and sunsets.
