Posted by Dana & Scott Jurak on Tuesday, May 19, 2009

Sapodilla Bay Beach is one of the most remarkable beaches in the Caribbean. Not only is the sand sugary white, the water is also crystal clear. One can wade knee high for about 100 yards before the ocean begins to deepen gradually. The calm waters makes this beach perfect for kids of all ages!

Providenciales, Turks & Caicos

The island of Providenciales, or “Provo” as its known, is the shining jewel of the Turks & Caicos Islands. Hundreds of thousands of tourists visit its sandy shores every year. Although Grace Bay Beach on Providenciales is lined with high-end resorts, the island manages to maintain much of its simple Caribbean roots. For example, there are no stoplights or Burger Kings on the island, a welcome change for most visitors! Also, Providenciales is easy to get to! Several large airlines have regular flights to Turks & Cacios, some non-stop from major cities. Want more convenience? The language in Turks and Caicos is English and the currency is US dollars. So most visitors won't have to deal with a language barrier or the hassles of exchange rates. For visitors preferring more privacy and space than can be found at the often crowded resorts, vacation villas provide an excellent alternative for many families and small groups.
